I have wanted a bird tattoo forever. Feeling they were a little cliche, I went for my favorite kind of bird, DEAD!
This has been the longest I waited for a tattoo and every minute of waiting was worth it. I changed the idea like 10 times and couldn't be happier with the end result. Adding the 23 to it was kind of a snap decision, but I love it. It doesn't just mark my age right now either, it's mine and T's anniversary as well (feb. 3rd). Kind of silly, super cutesy, but better than his name across my chest or something.
I am super elated right now. I can't stop looking at it.
I love my artist. She is the same woman who did the script on my clavicle. Julie at Adornarts in Cbus, OH. Good thing I will have family to continue to visit after I move, I love her work.
I'm going to go stare some more.
Hey chum, go put some pants on! In all seriousness, this tattoo is pretty rad. I love the idea that if a tattoo has some deeper meaning than just aesthetic value, the aesthetic seems to just naturally follow.
