  1. This is great! Bukowski is by far my favorite writer. one of my favorites is...

"there are worse things than being alone
but it often takes decades to realize this
and by then its too late
and theres nothing worse than too late."

I'm really glad you posted this haha

  2. I need to get over myself and just read an entire book of his already, haha. I think I just started to read him at the wrong time, so maybe now is the right time.
I also have a movie about him saved in my Netflix, and I often find that if I learn more about the person in question first, then I enjoy their work better. When an artist is hyped up a lot by my peers, I tend to stray from their work, until I find it when it on my own terms.

    If that makes any sense.

  3. Actually that makes perfect sense. I am the same way. If I'm introduced to an artist or writer by a friend, and start to get into it, its very short-lived if at all. But finding something on your own terms makes it special and personal in a way that can't be manufactured. Btw, Is it a movie called "Barfly" or the documentary?
