I want to go, I want to go, I want to go there too.

Some kind of - nista.

So, it has possibly occurred to you that this is not a fashion blog. I do not have sponsors and rarely show pictures of the clothes (or lack-there-of) that I am wearing. But I do have to talk about something fashion related.

I love clothes. I have A LOT of clothes. And. I miss them.

In the midst of sporadic packing and moving my single life to Boston, I packed one little suitcase with all that I thought I would need to live off of until Kate moved this way and brought all of my stuff. This consisted of random t-shirts, my newly consumed collection of cut off jean shorts, and a few dresses I hardly wear and one that is the only reasonable one to wear to interviews but also the most unreasonable one to walk long distances in to said interviews in the scorching heat which is this summer.
I hate that I do not have access to my normally overflowing closet of wonderfully creative clothing. I hate that I look at fashion blogs and wish I could put together an outfit that many would envy. Instead, I end up looking like a Stand By Me stand in with a Tobias Funke obsession.
On top of that I have the most ridiculous shoes here! I brought only my almost 3 year old, gross Converse low tops and found in packages I mailed to myself a pair of heels I practically never wear, my sandals (not good for walking in because of my flat feet) and I bought a pair of nice loafers for interviews but I have to ride public transportation when I wear them or I end up with massive blisters. I'm talking, quarter sized circles of puss on the insides and outsides of my heels, that is 4 blisters people!
Also. I have no money to pay for the important things let alone some thrifted clothing to make me feel the teensiest better until Kate can get my stuff here. Which will probably be a little longer than planned because money is not our specialty.

But in the search for a new job and through the process of starting a new life, I have been fashionably changing and in want of a new, updated but still vintage and classic style. I am going to try and not even get into the decorating a new house stuff... Save that for a future post.
So, just because I need some, have a lot of it, want to look at great pictures all day... Here is my inspiration currently and through the years:

Yes, I sincerely wanted to be Morticia Addams... When I was 5, no less.

*If you want to know what any of these are, where they are from, so on, just ask. Gold stars to those who know what each one is.
